My current work grows through collaboration. These projects bring researchers and students together across countries and disciplines to ask how technology, culture and social change are experienced in everyday life.
How do technologies become part of ordinary life and how does ordinary life reshape them in return? SoMaT approaches sustainability, digitalisation and diversity as lived processes rather than abstract goals.
Working with partners in Norway, Japan, South Korea and China makes comparison part of the method and creates a shared space for teaching, research visits and new writing.
Korean Studies is often spread across relatively small academic environments. NBKSD turns that dispersion into a strength by gathering students and teachers for an intensive week of lectures, workshops and practical learning.
The result is more than a module. It is a temporary academic community where students encounter new subjects and conversations continue across institutional and national borders.
